Invisible braces for children.

Why invisible aligners for children?
Treatment with invisible aligners offers a great many advantages, especially for our youngest patients, and can be used for children with mixed teeth. The biggest advantage is that, for children, this treatment is a much more flexible and more aesthetic route to a beautiful, confident smile. Unlike conventional fixed braces, the invisible aligners can be taken out quickly and easily. Activities such as sport or playing musical instruments can be carried on without any further problems or restrictions.
Advantages of invisible aligners
The properties of invisible aligners offer our youngest patients a whole range of advantages:
- No bullying at school
- No restrictions on leisure, sport or music
- No restrictions when brushing teeth
- No restrictions when speaking
- Comfortable to wear
- 3D scan instead of conventional impressions
- Removable for eating and brushing teeth
- Easy oral hygiene, and therefore a reduced risk of tooth decay
- The result of the orthodontic treatment can be viewed on the computer in a 3D simulation before treatment starts
- Fewer check-ups needed
- Takes no longer and doesn’t cost much more than fixed orthodontic treatment

Simply invisible
The invisible aligners from Eltz Kids are practically completely transparent. Most likely, nobody will even notice that you’re wearing these almost invisible “braces”. They fit seamlessly into your lifestyle without affecting your everyday dealings with other people.
Comfortable in everyday life
Short on time? Want an uncomplicated route to your dream smile? Then invisible aligners combined with our unique New York method are exactly right for you. What you can expect: a short treatment time, few appointments, easy hygiene and a pain-free wearing period. Nothing stands in the way of sport or making music either.
An excellent result in just one year. Everyone was very sensitive and empathetic. Thank you so much!
How do invisible aligners work?
In treatment with invisible aligners, misaligned teeth are corrected by a series of clear trays that are custom-made for you and therefore very comfortable. These so-called “aligners” are almost invisible on the teeth.
The aligners can be used to treat the majority of misalignments in adults and teenagers. Whether your smile just needs a slight improvement or more extensive adjustments, invisible aligners can help. They are successful in treating crowding and gaps between teeth. But they can also bring relief for more complex problems such as overbite, deep bite and even crossbite. Thanks to our experience, we can treat almost any misalignment with invisible aligners.
Does the aligner have to be worn every day?
Yes, absolutely. The removable braces must be worn every day to achieve the desired result.
A new aligner every 2 weeks
The teeth are moved step by step. That’s why you switch to a new aligner every 2 weeks. However, this doesn’t mean you have to come and see us every two weeks. You always receive aligners for approx. 8–12 weeks. We then check whether the teeth have moved as planned and carry out certain techniques to make sure we reach the simulated goal.
What happens if an invisible aligner gets lost?
If your aligners mysteriously disappear or you misplace them, we can order new ones at any time.
How long does the treatment take?
In general, treatment with baby teeth and mixed teeth takes between 12 and 18 months.
My son was treated by Dr. Eltz and we were completely satisfied. I was especially delighted by the child-friendly advice and the sensitivity of the staff. The invisible Invisalign method is just the thing, especially for youngsters.

Practically not. The aligners are transparent and wafer-thin — usually nobody notices that your child is having orthodontic treatment. That’s exactly what takes away many children’s biggest worry.
20 to 22 hours a day. They come out for eating and brushing teeth. Roughly every two weeks, your child switches to the next aligner.
Almost all of them — from mild to severe misalignments, i.e. IOTN 1 to 5. That’s the big difference from free braces (Gratis Zahnspange), which are only available for IOTN 4 and 5.
No. We work with a 3D scanner: the teeth are scanned once, and the individual aligner is made from the scan. No gagging, no unpleasant impression material.
Only every 10 to 14 weeks. With Dental Monitoring, the app-based remote check-up, there are even up to 75% fewer visits to the practice.
Then the treatment takes longer. That’s why we talk openly beforehand about whether the method suits your child. What helps if your child won’t wear them
